DOGS and 'moggies' will be among the highlights at Woodhall Spa Country Show later this month.
There will also be an exhibition and celebration of the potato, marking the International Year of the Potato and Lincolnshire’s role as the major grower of the crop.

The show, on Sunday May 18, will feature the ever-popular cattle, sheep, heavy horse and poultry classes and Lincoln Red Beef Week will be launched at the show.

The dogs on show are members of the Paws and Music Association and will give two demonstrations. The moggies, however, are not animals but Morris Minors, turning out in force in the vintage vehicle display to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the marque.

The show site is next to Jubilee Park and gates will open at 9.30am.

l Details: Sue Stennett, secretary, on 01526 352703 or Richard Pick for trade stands on 01526 343298.
