A DOZEN apartments will be created in an old Horncastle mill if plans get the go-ahead.
Conversion of the former corn mill in Station Lane would retain some original features, like old beams and columns, according to the planning application.

The timber features at the front and back of the building, once used for dropping grain onto trains and other transport, will be replaced.

The application from Bell and Shinn Builders involves converting the old building into 12 two-bedroom apartments, each with open-plan kitchen diners and lounge and bathroom.

There will be trees and seating areas in the courtyard, to be covered with cobble setts, and each apartment will have its own garage. The application has not yet been considered by East Lindsey District Council.
