Battle of Britain models launched

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 2, 10:00: A range of models has been released commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at RAF Coningsby.
Corgi's new collection of BBMF models, which are crafted to scale, includes a Spitfire, two Hurricanes and a Lancaster Bomber.

A special event entitled 'A Celebration of Collections' will officially launch the BBMF Corgi Collection at the BBMF Visitors Centre on January 15.

This event will also see the opening of a new exhibition about the history of the Flight and an award-winning selection of photography
from the RAF Coningsby photographic section will be on display.

These collections will remain open for public viewing at the Visitors' Centre.
