Community groups in East Lindsey can apply for up to £2,000 if their aim is to improve the quality of lives for local people, thanks to the Horncastle and District Health & Wellbeing Fund.
The Fund’s panel is also keen to help individuals, who can apply for up to £500 so they can buy equipment (wheelchairs, medical aids, etc), pay for transport, travel, or support costs not provided by statutory bodies.
The Fund’s aim is to promote health and wellbeing for the residents of Horncastle (the principal area of benefit) and surrounding district of East Lindsey. Previous successful applicants include Barnes Wallis Young Carers, Sellwood Gardens Memory Support Group, Headway Lincolnshire, Coffee Plus, Stanhope Hall, and Horncastle Luncheon Club.
The next closing date for receipt of applications is on March 1.
