A Woodhall Spa voluntary group has just celebrated 30 years of providing a weekly lunch and social gathering for some of the community’s senior citizens.
The Woodhall Spa Age Concern Luncheon Club started lunches in Coronation Hall in 1984 and the anniversary was celebrated with a grand tea party in St Peters Hall, for all those involved with the club now and in the past.
The cake was cut by founder helpers Margaret Sowerby and Doreen Holmes.
The club now meets in The Railway Hotel every Tuesday.
