Chocolate lovers have helped Coningsby & Tattershall Lions support four more good causes.

The club’s annual Easter egg draw saw a total of £1,449 being raised by the community, including schools, luncheon clubs, residential homes, pubs, shops and many other businesses.

Holy Trinity C of E School in Tattershall received £500 to support children’s needs; £250 went to the Getaway Club in Horncastle to help with transport of club members; £200 to Fisher House in Birmingham, a home away from home for military patients, and £250 to Coningsby New Surgery towards the purchase of a spirometer, which measures lung capacity.

Lion President Jackie Jewell is pictured above, left, with fellow Lion Pat Phillips, making the presentation to representatives of the Coningsby New Surgery.
