Swing on down to Big Band hits at Castle

THE sounds of the 1940’s will be one of the highlights of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Tattershall Castle.

The ‘Big Swing Band’ plays hits made famous by the legendary Glenn Miller. Their performance will be part of a special ‘1940’s Day’ at the Castle.

Jitterbugs, Anderson shelters and a fly-past by Spitfire aircraft will also feature in the event on Sunday, June 3.

The following day, the Castle will hold a Family Fun Day with a host of attractions. A Jubilee Beacon will be lit at 9.30pm. Futher details are available from the Castle.
