WITH just one week left until the curtain raises for Horncastle Theatre Company’s
latest show, director Priscilla Danby-Burbidge is delighted with how rehearsals are going for ‘When Did You Last See Your Trousers?’.

The play is a farce written by Ray Galton and John Antrobus, and Priscilla can’t wait to see it in action on opening night.

“Rehearsals are going really well,” she said. “The cast is excellent and it’s great to see that they have slipped seamlessly into their roles.”

The lead role of Howard is being played by Darren Yates, who is well known to Lion Theatre-goers after recently taking part in the award winning production of Outside Edge.

Cilla continued: “He’s great to work with, and I’m thrilled to bits that he’s joined us again for this play.”

The Theatre Company welcomes two newcomers to the stage in Adele Simpson and Laura Martin.

Adele plays the part of Howard’s mistress, Penny, and Laura is Deirdre who was once known as ‘The Lolita of Limassol’.

Other cast members include company regulars Andrew Attridge, Shaun Bates, Gareth Bates, Tommy Peckham, Shannon Woodley, Sam Colley and Andy Bye.

‘When Did You Last See Your Trousers?’ is being performed at the Lion Theatre on Wednesday September 19 until Saturday September 22.

Tickets are available from Horncastle Music Shop at £6 for adults and £5 for concessions. Contact: 01507 526566.
