One man... and a comedy show
A ONE-MAN comedy show, with a live guitar soundtrack, takes to the stage at Belchford next month.
Bane, Someone’s Got to Pay, from Whitebone Productions, follows anti-hero Bruce Bane, a tough-talking wise-cracker, as he journeys through life on the mean streets of a fictional American city.
Writer and creator Joe Bone plays all 79 characters, bringing his comic anti-hero and tale of bloody revenge to life with just his body, his voice and a stunning live guitar soundtrack from Ben Roe.
Heavily inspired by film and graphic novels, the performance uses skilled movement and sound effects to conjure the setting, with multiple character switching to create a filmic tapestry on stage that is funny, engaging and, at times, moving.
Tickets for the one-night-only performance at Belchford Village Hall on Thursday, October 4 at 7.30pm are available by calling 01507 533454.
