LIVES concert set to hit high notes
LIVES (Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service) is holding a fundraising concert in Lincoln Cathedral on Saturday October 20, starting at 7.30pm.
Four professional singers, a choir and an international pianist will be performing songs and music from the West End.
The concert is the main fundraiser for LIVES and organisers are hoping for a bumper turn-out.
LIVES attends more than 40 emergency calls a day, 365 days-a-year. Medics and responders are all volunteers who give up their time to help people in their communities who have dialled 999. Working with East Midlands Ambulance Service, First Responders are very often first ‘on scene’.
It costs over £800,000 to keep LIVES operational and fundraising events are vitally important.
Information and tickets can be found on the LIVES website www.lives.org.uk.
Tickets can be bought online www.lincolncathedral/shop or by phoning 01522 561644.
