Lions’ panto proves to be a roaring success!
The cast of Nellie the Cow
Coningsby and Tattershall Lions celebrated a tremendous success with their second pantomime ‘Nellie the Cow’ which took place in Tattershall.
The play was written and directed by Barrie Haines, husband of Club President Vickie and included a number of Lions’ members and friends.
Nellie the Cow, played by Vickie, was stolen by ‘baddies’ and taken to the sausage factory in New York.
Molly, played by Barrie, and Tom, played by Anne Simons, travelled from Tattershall to New York via a swamp and rescued her.
On the way, Molly made a wish and Nellie turned into a magic cow which made the family rich with her flavoured milk.
Barrie said: “I thought ‘never again’ but we really enjoyed it.” performances.”
