Horses galore at local attraction

Staff at the Northcote Heavy Horse Centre at Great Steeping are promising a fun-day out during the half-term holidays.

The centre will be open on Sunday 17, Monday 18, Tuesday 19 & Wednesday 20February.

Visitors can meet the horses, learn about the various breeds and take part in ‘hands on’ grooming sessions.

Terena Bolam, manager of the sanctuary - which is a registered charity - is looking for volunteers to help with the horses and run the shop and tea room.
