Don’t miss first pumpkin festival
THE first annual Belchford Pumpkin Festival is to be held on the weekend of October Saturday 13 and Sunday 14.
Growers are urged to bring along their pumpkins either carved or ready to carve, where they will be displayed in Belchford St. Peter & St. Paul’s Church.
All are welcome to the event where there will also be crafts, carving, demos, a heaviest pumpkin competition and also pumpkin pie.
Different classes will be available for children and adults to enter.
There will be a preview evening on Friday October 12, and tickets are available for £5 in advance (£6 on the door) from Bob Kenyon 01507 533454 or Marilyn Cotton 01507 533734.
The festival will raise money for the Belchford Church.
