Computer courses at college

THERE are still some places left on computer courses starting at Horncastle College this month.

These include a seven-week course in computer book-keeping, leading to a nationally recognised qualification starting on Friday night (January 17) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

And there are also spaces available on three short courses, 'How To Create Cards and Booklets' from 10.30am until 12.30pm, 'Making The Most Of Computers For Learning And Research' between 2pm and 4pm, both on Mondays, and 'All About Work With Computer Graphics' from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Absolute Beginners' computer courses are also been run at the end of the month. These three-day courses will be held on Monday, January 27 to Wednesday, January 29 from 9.30am until 3.30pm. This course will be repeated the following week on Monday, February 3 to Wednesday, February 5.

Free daytime creche facilities for up to two hours may be available for anyone wishing to attend IT courses but places must be booked in advance.
