Brew Up for forces
Friends and supporters of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families (SSAFA) Forces Help are holding their annual fundraiser - The Big Brew Up - on Saturday September 29 at the Horncastle Community Centre.
From Afghanistan to Cyprus and Germany to Britain, people will be raising a cup or mug to support servicemen and women for The Big Brew Up.
The SSAFA Forces Help is the leading national charity supporting those who serve in the Armed Forces.
Every penny raised from The Big Brew Up will go towards financial assistance, emotional support and a wide range of services to ensure that SSAFA Forces Help makes a difference whenever anyone asks for help.
This year, at the Community Centre, between 9.30am and 12 noon, tea and coffee, bacon butties and cakes will be served.
Everyone will be welcome.
