Bingo night to be hosted by charity

EAST Lindsey based charity Home-Start is hosting a Harvest Bingo night on Friday  September 7 at Horncastle Community Centre, Manor House Road.

Home-Start is a charity which offers its support to parents through volunteers and family groups.

Debbie Belton, Home-Start’s fundraising coordinator said: “The plan is to have a good night and raise funds for the charity.

“We would also like to use it as an opportunity to get people to know more about the services we offer.

“We raise funds to support our core services, such as providing family support.

“It also goes towards our annual day trip”

Debbie also said that the charity will have to rely more on fundraisers like this due to funding cuts.

“We are looking for people to come along, and also see if they could spare time for us to help with fundraising.

“We have a small team of volunteers which we are looking to grow.”

Home-Start will also be running a charity stall in Horncastle at Christmas, and is looking at hosting a Murder Mystery event early next year.”
