HORNCASTLE Young Stagers’ forthcoming production of “Joseph And His Round the World Dream Boat” has been accredited by East Lindsey Live.

East Lindsey Live is a calendar of exciting sporting, heritage and cultural events which showcase the district and attract visitors.

The show, held in conjunction with the Joseph Banks Society, takes place on Saturday, October 6 at The Lion Theatre, in Horncastle, with a matinee at 3pm and evening performance at 7.30pm.

The production is organised by the Young Stagers of Horncastle Theatre Company and by  receiving East Lindsey Live accreditation, it has been shown to benefit the district by enhancing  volunteering and community  involvement opportunities

A spokesman for Young Stagers said: “We are delighted to be one of the first events to receive accreditation and it is great that ELDC is supporting events like ours. We hope it encourages people to visit us.

“We would also like to thank The Joseph Banks Society for their support.”

It follows the life of local lad Joseph Banks from his days as a schoolboy through to his epic voyages with Captain Cook which earned him international fame.
