Back by popular demand, East Lincolnshire dialect society ‘Far Welter’d’ return to Somersby House tomorrow, Thursday, with an evening’s ‘hentertayunment’!

They will be performing Tennysons dialect poetry plus some of their own.

Far Welter’d first visited Somersby House, the birthplace and home of Alfred Tennyson for the first 28 years of his life, in 2013 and managed to raise more than £500 for the church restoration fund.

Tickets for this week’s event are available at £7.50 per person, which includes supper, from info@tennysonsbirthplace.co.uk or 01507 534847.

The start time is 7.30pm and the event will finish around 9.30pm.
