A community group that usually meets in Woodhall Spa at the Petwood Hotel held an open meeting at one of the area’s newest schools and made a blooming lovely donation which will be music to the ears of fundraisers.

It was at the Barnes Wallis Academy in Tattershall last Monday evening that Woodhall Spa Flower Club presented a cheque for £1,250 to the St Peter’s church organ appeal.

This year marks the 55th anniversary of the group which began in 1955 and currently has 220 members. It will hold it’s Emerald Anniversary celebrations in October.
