EDITOR - I am researching family history and have a newspaper cutting (without date or name of publication) indicating a Rev Arthur Newbold was appointed to Thornton (St Wilfrid's?).

He was born Arthur George Stonehewer Newbold in Macclesfield in 1809.

I would be very grateful if any readers can help in identifying dates or any other details.
I have information on several of Arthur's siblings but he remains an enigma.
