EDITOR – Re wind turbines at ELDC, page 2, April 23.
Wind turbines are good for the environment, are not intrusive, in fact most people who have them 'imposed on them' forget they are there after a while.
As a feature on the landscape they are more impressive than imposing and I trust Coun Davies will not use his position to bias the discussion unfairly.
As for your "What else?" I lived at Manby when it was the officers' mess.
It has a large roof area, ideal for solar panels of both the water heating and the photovoltaic (electricity generating) type.

It also has the old airfield which would be ideal for geothermal/heat pump provision.

In fact, used properly, it would not cost the locals anything to run, apart from, that is, the massive council tax!
