TETFORD PHOTOS: Straw blimey! What a fantastic display!
TETFORD'S fantastic annual scarecrow festival pulled in the crowds over the holiday weekend.
This year's theme was out of this world and inspiration for the designs came from films and TV shows including Star Wars, the Wizard of Oz and Doctor Who.
Wonderful weather ensured people turned up in their droves to enjoy the impressive display and entertainment.
Villagers Doug and Bernadette Stewart, of Mill Lane, put together a surprise display for one of their neighbours, Fred and Mary Midmar.
Last year the Midmars put on a Little Bo Peep has her lost sheep display.
Ever since friends have been sending joke postcards from the lost sheep from as far away as Canada, Mexico and Russia.
This year the sheep finally came home in a big display in the Stewart's garden.
