CHILDREN and adults are being invited to help experts track down and identify wildlife at Banovallum House in Horncastle, next weekend, May 16 and 17.
This is the third annual BioBlitz, a 24 hour survey intent on recording wildlife whilst it happens.

Enthusiasts from the Lincolnshire Naturalists' Union, Lincolnshire Biodiversity Partnership and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust will be joining in activities such as bat surveys, moth recording, dawn walks, pond dipping, mini beast hunts, snail safaris and other wildlife-related activities.

Margaret Haggerty, manager of the Lincolnshire Biodiversity Partnership said: "Knowing what it present helps us make informed decisions, for example about how to manage protected areas."

Anybody can come along to help find species with the help of experts to identify them.

It takes place from 4pm on Friday, May 16, to 4pm on Saturday, May 17.

People can stay for as long as they like, whether it is an hour or a full 24.
