CONINGSBY and District Show takes place on September 12, in the Community Hall.
There are 96 classes, some specifically for children, but there is no reason why they cannot try for any.
Plenty of rain has been forecast during the next few weeks so why not encourage the youngsters to be crafty and make some entries?
The theme of this year's scarecrow competition is to represent a popular character from pantomime and is open to individuals, families, groups and schools.
There are trophies and cash prizes to be won.
Entry forms and entry fees should be handed in at Coningsby Post Office or sent to Juliet Walker, Mill farm, 47, High Street, Tattershall on or before Wednesday, September 9.
