MEMBERS of the women's section of Coningsby and Tattershall Royal British Legion heard women's section branches across Lincolnshire raised nearly £20,000 for good causes last year.
Representatives from the branch will attend the purse presentation in North Hykeham on July 12 where all the money raised in the past year is presented and are hoping to beat last year's total.

The summer is a busy time for the Legion with the county committee organising a get-together on June 21 in the new Methodist Church and there is a Veteran's Day Service and lunch on June 29.

The next men's branch quiz night is on June 17 at the Fortescue Arms when Martin Rickard will be showing slides of local views and combining them with a quiz. All welcome.
