14/05/08 - Fire talk 'was one of the best ever'
LINCOLNSHIRE Fire and Rescue Service gave a talk about fire safety in the home at last week's meeting of the Thursday Club.
Members were also shown a film demonstrating how quickly fire can spread, especially from an unsupervised chip pan.
The talk and demonstration were very much appreciated by those present and one member commented that "it was one of the best talks ever done for us".
At the previous week's meeting members were given a gentle exercise presentation.
