A 'NO ball games' sign has been requested by people living on the Castle View estate in Tattershall.

They asked for the sign at the May meeting of Tattershall with Thorpe Parish Council after damage was caused to gardens by people playing football and tennis.

Other matters were the efforts of PC Duncan Bustin in tackling anti-social behaviour, a request for more street lighting from the Castle to the Country Park, and confirmation the new Community Access Point will be open from June 2.

* Tattershall Thorpe has its annual parish meeting at 7pm on May 14 in Thorpe Visitor Centre.

* Tattershall's annual footpath walking event takes place on June 12, June 19, June 26 and July 3 - with a reserve date of July 10 in case of bad weather. Meet in the Market Place at 6.30pm. All welcome.
