Val takes on the top job

HORNCASTLE Ladies Club held its AGM recently.

The president reported on another successful year which had a varied and interesting programme of speakers and two enjoyable outings.

Jo Brooks has retired as secretary to the club after 10 years of service.

The new president is Val Mirams who said she is looking forward to her term of office and announced a coach visit to York will take place on May 22. Tea was served by committee members, followed by a just for fun quiz.

The next meeting is on Tuesday, April 10 at 2pm at Horncastle Community Centre. Guests and new members are very welcome.
