THE funeral service for Jane Ellis, aged 52 years, of Horncastle, was held at St. Mary’s Church, Horncastle and Alford Crematorium.

The Rev Avril Ford officiated the service and the arrangements were by R H Turner & Son.

Jane attended Banovallum School and then worked as a machinist at Gymphlex for 25 years.

She then worked at Tanglewood Residential Home as a care assistant for three years before leaving due to ill health.

She was also a life-long supporter of Lincoln City Football Club, a member of Horncastle Outdoor Bowls Club, and she played for Durham Ox Dominoes and Ladies Darts Team.

When her health permitted she enjoyed going out to Bingo and helping with her husband, Sam’s, charity quiz work.

She was the daughter of Joyce and the late Roy Robinson, and sister to Julie.
