Breaking news: Horncastle set for starring role
Horncastle is set to play a starring role in the 2013 So Festival.
The Festival - backed by East Lindsey District Council - has previously focussed on coastal locations.
However, this year’s Festival will feature a major new event in Horncastle on Saturday, June 29.
Although exact details have still to be finalised, it is believed to be one of the biggest events in the town’s history.
It will concentrate on Horncastle’s proud heritage and the town will literally appear in lights.
More details will be revealed in next week’s News.
ELDC leader Coun Doreen Stephenson said she believed thousands of visitors could be attracted to the town - handing a much needed boost to the local economy.
