October 1 is officially Older People’s Day, but East Lindsey District Council will be delivering a week’s worth of events in the district - including a special ‘60p for 60 plus’ deal at council run leisure centres.

Other events include free health walking sessions.

Health walks on Monday October 1 include: 9.30am-10.30am. Coronation Hall, Spa Road, Woodhall Spa. 2-3 miles; and 11.30am-12.30pm. Horncastle Swimming Pool, Coronation Walk. 2-3 miles.

As part of the week, ELDC will be working with other district councils and organisations, giving older people the chance to join the Giant Walker’s Tea Party on Tuesday October 2 at Whisby Park, Lincoln.

For more information or to book contact Tracey Richardson on 01507 613446.
