DONINGTON on Bain Parish Council has its AGM in the village hall on Tuesday, May 13, at 7.30pm. People are welcome to raise matters of interest and concern for the first ten minutes before the council meeting formerly opens at 7.40pm.
EMMA Hotchin had two further competitions in aid of Louth and District Hospice.
The winners were revealed by the Rev Ian McGrath and Margaret Bouskill at the rectory coffee morning.
A total of £28.80 was raised and Emma extends her thanks to her neighbours and friends for their support.

12 PEOPLE attended the Annual Parish Meeting in the village hall where reports were presented by local groups.
Kevin Wallis, chairman of the village hall management committee, said a new heating system was being looked at because of higher energy bills and that hire charges will have to go up.

He gave a brief history of the building which started life as the Forrester's hall and was revamped with lottery money in the run up to the year 2000.
Other speakers were from the football club, church, Forget Me Not Club, Flower Club and the school.
There was general agreement that Donington on Bain should be entered in the Best Kept Village Competition as the marks and comments had been good in 2007.
