10.30am: Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival Launch (5 miles starting from Cattle Market car park off Newmarket Lindum Walk). A linear walk to the walking festival launch day events at Welton le Wold quarry, via Hubbard's Hill, Hallington Top and Welton Vale. A shuttle bus will return you to Louth. SUNDAY MAY 18
9am: Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival: Tetford Leg Stretcher (13 miles starting from Hamilton Hall in Tetford) – a Wolds walk with some spectacular scenery. This is a led walk with no age limits, but walkers must have the ability to walk for six and a half hours in all weathers. The paths are all very good and clear to walk. There is a mixture of cross field paths, tracks and various stiles. There are five steady climbs mostly before lunch. Information: 01507 609289

10am: Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival: Three Churches and Three Becks (8 miles starting from Village Hall, Honeyholes Lane, Dunholme off the A46) – As part of the West Lindsey Churches Festival, this circular ramble sets out to discover churches at Nettleham, Scothern and Dunholme via footbaths. We will head towards Fulletby via Low Toynton and West Ashby before walking to Farthorpe and Middlethorpe. Returning to Horncastle via Thimbleby Trout Farm. Mainly ppaths, tracks and quiet roads. 2pm: Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival: Manby Flats (2.5-3 miles starting from St Mary's Church, Carlton Road, Manby) –Led walk along roads and across pasture that allows easy access to view points overlooking the washland created on the Long Eau to contain flood water. A mix of crops are grown on the pasture to provide food for small birds. Road, paths, some stiles, mostly flat. 01507 358487

Public footpaths, tracks and quiet roads. Some paths across arable land could be muddy if wet. Quite a dew stiles to negotiate – some may be stockproof so difficult for dogs. 01507 358487

Mostly footpaths. One steep hill to walk down and a gradual climb with one short steep slope back up. 01507 358487
10am: Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival: Grasby Bottoms (10 miles starting from Grasby Bottoms off the A1084 Caistor to Brigg Road into Grasby Wold Lane) – Heading towards Barton Top where there are great views across the Wolds. Passing Humberside Airport before heading to Hendale Wood for a refreshment stop, then onto the Brocklesby Estate and through the woods, passing a Mausoleum built by Charles Anderson Pelham and then following a private track to Halliday Hill Wood.
